Indication/Description:
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus,... which is used for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to enrofloxacine such as respiratory diseases caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, intestinal and genital diseases caused by Escherichia coli in poultry as well as complication of infections in respiratory and GI tract of poultry: CRD, complex-CRD, colisepticaemia, salmonellosis, chlora, pasteurellosis, avian coryza, stress.
Administration & Dosage:
Dissolve into drinking water or mix with feed for 3 - 5 days.
Average dose is 1 ml / 10 kg of b.w (10 mg / 1 kg of b.w) or 1 ml per 2 liters of drinking water, for 3 - 5 consecutive days.
Treatment of colibacillosis or salmonellosis for 5 - 7 consecutive days. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 5 days.
Withdrawal period:
Withdraw 8 days after last treatment for slaughter in poultry.
