Florfenicol has a broad-spectrum antibacterial activity that includes all organisms sensitive to florfenicol, against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.
FLOAZO 30 is indicated for prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections, caused by florfenicol sensitive micro-organisms such as Actinobaccillus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp. and Streptococcus spp. in cattle and poultry.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Dissolve into drinking water with the following concentration.
Shake well before use.
Poultry: 250ml per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
(This is equivalent to 10-12,5 mg Florfenicol per kg b.w).
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours. During treatment medicated drinking water should be the only source of drinking water.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Withdraw 7 days before slaughter.
