Indication/Description:
Amprolium is a broad-spectrum anticoccidial effective against major Eimeria species . It disrupts carbohydrate metabolism in the parasite, leading to paralysis and death.
SANFO.AMPROLIN is used as a preventive or therapeutic agent against Eimeria infections in poultry, especially E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina and E. praecox. It is effective against other protozoal infections like Histomoniasis (Blackhead) in turkeys and poultry; against coccidiosis in calves, sheep and goats; against amaebiasis in various species.

Administration & Dosage:
Dissolve in drinking water at the following recommended dosages:
Poultry:
• For prevention: 1g/4 litres of drinking water for 1-2 weeks.
• For treatment: 1g/1-2 litres of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Calves, sheep and goats:
• For prevention: 1g/50 kg body weight, in drinking water or milk for 21 days.
• For treatment: 1g/25 kg body weight, in drinking water or milk for 5 days.
Should use the product within 12 hours when mixed with milk replacer and within 24 hours when mixed with drinking water.
Withdraw period:
Withdraw 5 days before slaughter in poultry.
Withdraw 3 days before slaughter in calves, sheep and goats
Storage:
Keep in dry, cool place and keep away from sunlight
Store in room temperature
