Indication/Description
For treatment of acute infections, respiratory infections, nail infections and inflammation, acute uterine infections caused by bacteria sensitive to ceftiofur in cattle and poultry.
Administration & Dosage
I.M injection (poultry), S.C injection (cattle).
- Cattle: 1 ml/50 kg b.w/day, administered through S.C injection with the recommend treatment periods:
• Respiratory infections: 3 - 5 days.
• Nail infections: 3 days.
• Acute endometritis after birth: 5 days. The injection is advised to be given via neck musculature.
- Poultry: 0.3 - 0.5ml/1 kg of b.w. give injection twice only with an interval of 48 hours between each injection.
Withdrawal period
Preslaughter withdrawal period: 08 days for cattle and 04 days for poultry.
